Our process is designed to establish feasibility, budget, scope, and expectations before construction begins — then keep the project coordinated through completion.
01 — START YOUR PROJECT
Every project begins with our Project Inquiry Form.
Tell us what you’re considering, where the property is located, and anything you already know about the project. You do not need to have everything figured out before contacting us.
02 — INITIAL REVIEW & BUDGET
We review the project, discuss what you’re trying to accomplish, and establish an initial budget range.
For larger projects, we may also look at early feasibility items such as zoning, health requirements, and site conditions.
The goal is to make sure the project and budget are reasonably aligned before moving forward.
03 — DESIGN, CONSULTATION & PRICING
Once the initial budget makes sense, the project moves into a paid consultation stage.
We work through the design, materials, site conditions, and construction requirements necessary to define the scope and develop final pricing.
The consultation fee is credited toward the project when construction moves forward with North Street Builders.
Once the scope is approved, the contract is signed and the project is secured with a deposit.
04 — PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Before work begins, North Street Builders coordinates the pieces required to move the project into construction.
This may include permitting, inspections, material ordering, trade scheduling, selections, and site logistics.
Our goal is to have the major moving parts organized before the project reaches the field.
05 — CONSTRUCTION
Our field team manages the day-to-day work on site while North Street Builders coordinates the overall project.
Clients receive regular updates regarding progress, upcoming work, selections, and decisions that need to be made.
If the scope changes, additional work is handled through a written change order and agreed upon before proceeding.
06 — COMPLETION
As construction nears completion, we perform a final walkthrough and establish any remaining punch-list items.
Those items are completed, final inspections are addressed, and the project moves to closeout.
The goal is simple: deliver the project we agreed to build.
